How to make Fused Clapton Coils

how to make fused clapton coils

Making fused clapton coils can be a bit challenging but with practice, anyone can do it.  A lot of vapers switch from subohm vaping to rebuildable atomizers vaping due to the great flavor the RDA/RTA/RDTA produce. We have a lot of pre made wire and coils for those rebuildable atomizers, but they’re not as delicious as hand made coils. Today we’re going to discuss how to make Fused Clapton Coils by hand with help of some tools.

Tools needed for Fused Clapton Coils:

1x Electric drill

2x Teeth-less pliers

1x Wire snips

3x Different size screwdrivers

1x Tabletop vise

1x 24 VH Kanthal for the core wire

1x 38 gauge Nichrome for the Clapton wire

Steps taken to make the Fused Clapton Coils:

For the first step we’re going to cut out two core wire to length of about two rotations. Then we gonna straighten them. It’s easier to straighten them in the drill. Take each end of the wire and put them at 90-degree bends. Then place it in the truck at the drill and tighten it. Grab the end of your wire with your pliers and all you’re gonna do is twist for about three to five seconds.

Next step take the wire parallel each other and insert into the drill. Then put the wire into the spindles and tie a little knot with them. Next take the 38 gauge Nichrome as our Clapton wire and lock it into the Chuck well, also wrap it around those 90 degrees. And then start wrapping and that’s gonna lock it in for the rest of the Clapton. Attention that you should grap the 38 gauge when you wrap or it may be loose. When you finish that, clip the ends. Now you have your hand made Fused Clapton Wire.

To make a Fused Clapton coil, just cut the Fused Clapton wire in a proper length and wrap it around a 2.5 millimeter screwdriver to do a couple of wraps, and now you can get the Fused Clapton Coil.

Once you have made your fused clapton coil, you can install it on your RDA or RTA and enjoy a great vaping experience. Remember to take safety precautions when building coils, such as using proper tools, working in a well-ventilated area, and ensuring that the resistance of the coil matches your device’s specifications.
