Vaporesso Armour Pro Kit Review

Armour pro kit

Recently Vaporesso just released a new kit called Armour Pro kit. It consists of an Armour pro mod and a Cascade baby tank. The Armour Pro mod a single battery mod. In this article we’ll do a Armour Pro kit review.

Vaporesso Armour Pro Kit Package

Inside Vaporesso Armour Pro Kit package you are going to receive a mod, a cascade baby tank, an extra coil, an extra piece of glass, a charging cable and a user manual.

Vaporesso Armour Pro Kit Specifications

The Cascade baby tank comes with a 510 drip tip. It holds 5 ml of liquid. To fill the Cascade baby tank, do remember to pull up and push over the top cap, then you can see a hole to fill. It’s not gonna open on its own unless you pull it up. The tank is bottom airflow. It comes pre-installed with a mesh coil, the other coil head it comes with is a Ccell coil which has a tighter draw. The Armour Pro mod is 86 millimeters tall and about 27 millimeters in diameter. The Cascade Baby tank is about 24.5 millimeters at the base. It has a spring-loaded pin to get to the battery compartment. It has a little adapter for 18650 as well. The Armour pro mod feels really nice and it feels like a zinc alloy with the coating on it but it’s still pretty light weight. The screen looks better in real life but it’s not the brightest screen in the world.

Vaporesso Armour Pro Mod settings

To get into the menu you press the mode button three times, and you can see variable wattage preheats, variable wattage high, variable wattage normal and variable wattage soft. SP is a super player mode and basically it’s made for super low ohm build, this will probably be a feature in all their mods. If you keep going you can switch to variable voltage and a variable voltage curve which just looks the same as the wattage curves . Then stainless steel, nickel titanium, m1, m2 bypass mode. When you go to stainless steel you could set your TCR. If you wanted to change it a little bit in stainless steel mode you can set your power. If your in TC mode and then you can do a custom temperature curves.

Vaporesso Armour Pro Kit final thoughts

What I do like about the Vaporesso Armour Pro Kit

Simplified version:
Good performance mesh coils
Really dig the Armour mod
Ergonomic design
Fantastic build quality

Detail description:
The mesh coil pre installed in the Cascade Baby tank is good and it vapes well. It can unscrew itself kind of easily when you’re putting it all together but you know all in all it’s a pretty solid tank. The Armour Pro mod is pretty cool. They add everything into the mod, if you’re kind of more of a tech geek and you like your board on your mod to just have every feature possible this is going to do that for you. I also really like the the firing on it, it has a good amount of clicks but it feels very ergonomic. The build quality on this is fantastic. It feels like that zinc alloy but a little bit thinner, it’s not a super heavy mod or anything and it’s got a really nice coating over it. It doesn’t look like just your normal paint it’s got a little bit of a pearly sheen.

What I don’t like about the Vaporesso Armour Pro Kit.

Simplified version:
Dark screen
Doesn’t not work pretty well with subohm tank
Battery door opens too easily

Detail description:
I wish the screen was a little brighter because some of these things you got to hold it close up to be able to see. Another thing to mention is that it does get pretty warm with the the sub ohm tank up top. The battery door opens a little easily.

  1. DO NOT BUY! The battery door is so loose it will cause your battery to fall out constantly. The USB port will stop taking a charge because it’s poorly attached. All in all a very unpleasant experience and a waste of money.
